Our clients for a recent project were an active couple who’d always had a full schedule on their hands. They wanted a custom-built home and hired an architect, builder, and us, Lesley Cullen Interiors.
Since they lacked the time to make all the decisions required to make their new home feel the way they wanted, they hired us to provide full interior design services; this included everything from exterior and interior color and finishes to new furniture, rigs, drapery artwork, and accessories.
They desired a home that captured their active lifestyle while creating a warm and inviting space to entertain guests. By choosing comfortable furniture with a spacious layout, the design created offers a cohesive flow that makes anyone feel right at home.
Blending a mix of traditional elements with modern interior architecture created the perfect fusion for a refined, welcoming space. We paired their existing rustic antique dining table with a curated collection of blue and white porcelain to really capture the updated traditional look they were after.
They love the large classic and timeless white kitchen that includes a farmhouse sink, a large island with a prep sink, and 4 upholstered counter stools that swivel.
We also designed a purposeful balance of calming colors and comfortable furniture to create a lovely space for rest and relaxation for this couple that’s always on the move. They now look forward to retreating to their bedroom at the end of each day.
The homeowners were so excited to see their vision come together so nicely, in spite of their very busy schedules.
